After working in the health and social care sector for many years, and in a world where society is so wrapped up in only pleasing themselves, I strongly believed there must be a better way for me to deliver the professional l, caring, high standard of service I am capable of. I searched for a long time, trying different areas of care, nursing homes, community support, and even agency work. Now finally being able to offer a tailored, personalised service to you and your loved one at the high level and standard you both deserve.
I provide a full Personal Assistant Service, offering top quality support and assistance with everything from washing and dressing, to cleaning and cooking. My skills are driven by care, empathy, understanding and patience.

Companionship
If you are feeling alone, lost a loved one?
Whether you fancy going out for a cuppa or lunch once a week, or would like someone to pop in daily or even go for a walk and a chat.
Home Support
If you find yourself struggling with the day to day tasks of sorting out bills, filling in forms, booking health care appointments, ordering medication and most tasks which can affect physical and mental health, I have years worth of experience in running supported living homes and care in the community and I offer a service of assisting with these tasks. I will manage your calendar appointments, emails, and many other tasks that come up.
Personal Care
I offer support and care on all aspects relating to personal care from prompting all the way to meeting full personal care needs while preserving dignity and respect
This care is probably the most private and intimate act that a person(s) can have done for them by a care practitioner. Respect and dignity provided to the you is the priority while performing this care.
There are many types of tasks I can help with, bathing including, bed bath, bath, partial bath or shower. A total bath is necessary if you are is unable to physically bath yourselfYou may require a bit of help if you are unable to climb in and out of the bath or shower independently.If you can get into the bath or shower independently but are unable to bathe yourself, if you or your loved one suffer from dementia such that even though they may be able to physically get in and out of the bath or shower they may not remember how to bathe themselves or perform this task safely. I can also assist the person with bathing with the use of a transfer device such as a hoist, transfer board as I am fully trained in moving and handling which is updated yearly.
Pet care
If you have a furry companion that is part of the family, but are unable to take them for walks, groomers and health appointments, I offer this as part of my service. I am a farm girl at heart and I belive pets are a vital part of our lives!
Medical support
Many of my clients are forced to try and adapt at home when things get tough, I am fully trained in moving and handling, operating hoists, wheelchairs, Freka Peg Feeding with manual bolus as well as Amika pump, Basic first aid and life support, Medication administration using Freka Peg tube, as well as cleaning and emptying catheter bags and entrance sites.
If there is any other specialised assistance needed for medical devics or home procedures that need doing, I am able to undertake the training with the NHS to enable to meet these needs.
